I was born in San Salvador, El Salvador in 1987. During the upheaval of the civil war in 1990, my mother decided to emigrate and we moved to Sydney, Australia. In 2006, I received a scholarship to the Julian Ashton Art School in Sydney and studied for three years. In early 2011, I had my first two solo exhibitions at Phone Booth Gallery, Long Beach and Spoke Art Gallery, San Francisco. I also joined Prisma later that year. I’ve also been co-curating the “Moleskine Project” exhibitions over at Spoke Art Gallery in San Francisco since. Since finishing my most recent solo exhibition “Nemeta’ at Thinkspace Gallery in Feb 2016, I’ve been living in Sydney and working on new projects.
